It’s a nasty little bug. People say they’re harmless and don’t bother you, but I disagree.

Silverfish are an ancient insect species. They’ve been around for over 400 million years. They’re actually pretty cool, but people hate them because they eat things like cotton, silk, and carpet. They also munch on hair, dead bugs, and other stuff, which makes them nature’s clean-up crew. Thanks to them and other creatures like them, we don’t have piles of trash everywhere.
