I believe that the only method to permanently deactivate your Facebook account at this time is to get permanently banned.
My Facebook account was “deleted” during the 2016 election. However, Facebook takes steps to entice users to return since they dislike it when users leave the site.
Did you know that all it takes to reinstate a “deleted” account is to log in? Indeed, I discovered that when someone attempted to post on my account under my name. I got an SMS from a friend saying that my account was publishing strange stuff. I proceeded to Facebook, changed my password, signed in, and then erased my account once more.
After a few months, I once more began receiving Facebook email notifications. I received messages that individuals were enjoying my previous postings and friend invitations. What the heck? After I got in touch with Facebook help, they informed me that I had reactivated my account by logging in. Since there was no activity on the account, I don’t believe there was another hack. I reset my password and closed my account once more. I also emailed support, requesting that my account and all of the posts inside it be deleted forever. I received no reply.
After a year or so, guess what has now started to appear in my email once more? Yes, alerts from Facebook.
I can assure you that I have eradicated some of the most difficult viruses from computers and restored data that technicians from Microsoft and Dell had assured me was lost forever. It’s been harder to try to delete my Facebook account than either of those.
The thing is you cannot permanently delete your Facebook account.
Previously, you could deactivate your Facebook account and stay without logging in for more than 30 days then the account would get permanently deleted by Facebook.
Recently, it’s become impossible to delete your account.
I have permanently deactivated my account for more than 6 months, but I still receive emails of friends activity from Facebook
