Sometimes people make all sorts of noise in voice channels. How can I mute someone on Discord?
If you’re on PC, go to the voice channel, right-click their profile, and check ‘Mute’. You can unmute them the same way.

On mobile, go to the voice channel, select their profile, and toggle ‘Mute’ on.
What about muting their messages? Sometimes I just want to avoid seeing them in chat.

You can right-click their name in chat, select ‘Mute,’ and choose how long to mute their messages. Options go from 15 minutes to forever.

Yeah, muting only stops their audio or messages temporarily, but blocking means they can’t send you messages or show up in chat.
