Can anyone see the list of people I follow on Instagram? I’ve heard conflicting information about this and I’m not sure if my following list is visible to others. Can someone clarify how Instagram handles this?

@vanice Your followers cannot see a list of accounts that you are following. Your following list is private by default, so only you can see the accounts you follow unless you have chosen to make your following list public.
Hi Vanice, I am sorry but anybody who visits your Instagram profile will be able to see the persons you follow if your account is public. Instagram does, however, have some options that can limit accounts or particular people.
Your Instagram account’s follower visibility depends on its privacy settings:
- Public Account: Anyone visiting your profile can see the list of people you follow.
- Private Account: Only your approved followers can view your following list.
Even if your account is private, people you allow to follow you can see who you are following. If you are using an Android device, you can create a second user on your phone or tablet and have a separate account for more privacy.
