Anyone know the hex codes for discord background colors?

So, I’ve been playing around with discord settings and came across different background modes. There’s a hex code for each—#ffffff for light mode and #36393e for dark mode. Anyone else mess around with these?

Yup, I saw those too. Dark mode looks great for night gaming. Anyone else feel it’s easier on the eyes?

Totally, the dark mode is way better for long sessions, especially if you’re up late.

Yeah, my screen’s way less harsh at night with the dark mode. Light mode just feels too bright, you know?

Does anyone know if the colors have changed recently? I remember seeing a different blue shade back in the day.

Yeah, they updated it a while back. The brand color now is something called Blurple – it’s kinda a blue-purple mix.

Blurple? lol, never heard that one before. What’s the hex for it?

@Ren
#5865f2 is the code. It’s what they use for the logo too.

Same here. It’s bright, but it’s my default for daytime. Maybe they’ll add more themes someday.

Does anyone know if you can set Discord to switch automatically between light and dark mode?

Yeah, there’s an auto mode that switches at night. It’s in settings under ‘appearance’.

Good to know! That’s a game-changer for late-night gaming.

What’s everyone’s favorite color in the new palette? I’m loving that purple they added.

I think that’s #a020f0! The purple is a nice touch for sure.
