Hello! So, my computer had this problem where it would install Windows 11 (my computer can’t handle Windows 11 right now) without my permission. Every time it did this, I had to go into settings and revert it, which was pretty annoying, but at least it was fixable. A few weeks ago, I tried to revert to Windows 10 as usual, but somewhere along the way, my screen went totally black for about 30 minutes, which had never happened before. So, I turned off the computer, hoping it would reset the install. But all it did was corrupt my Windows install (if it wasn’t corrupted already) and my PC got stuck in a repair loop. To fix it, I used the Windows Media Creation Tool to put Windows 10 on a USB to boot off of. Everything seemed fine when I plugged the USB in, but after I hit clean install, it went to a blue screen with white text that says ‘setup is starting’. I also have an hourglass-shaped cursor that I can still move around. I went to bed after hitting install, and when I woke up, it was still on the same screen. It’s been stuck for 10-11 hours now. I’m not sure if I should keep waiting or try again? I’ve done a lot of online research but can’t find much that helps. I need this computer for school in a few months, and getting a new one isn’t an option Any help is appreciated!
To get accurate analysis of BSODs, we need dump files. If you can get into Windows normally or through Safe Mode, could you check C:\Windows\Minidump for any dump files? If you have any, copy the folder to the desktop, zip it, and upload it to a file-sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. We prefer to have multiple dump files, so if you only have one, none, or not a folder, upload what you have and follow this guide to change the dump type to ‘Small Memory Dump’. This will prevent files from being overwritten. Thanks!

I’m a little confused. Nothing in this link seems to help with my problem. If there’s a solution in there, I can’t find it. It looks like a guide on how to install Windows 10, but I can’t get past step 3 of the installation.
