So, here’s the problem… I can’t open the Windows tab, search, or use the Windows button. I tried running sfc /scannow, but the user name is TEMP and it says I need to be an administrator running a console session to use the sfc utility. I also can’t open the settings. What should I do to fix this?
It sounds like a temporary user is logged in. Have you tried restarting your PC to see if it logs in as your usual account?

I’ve restarted it several times, but it still logs in with my normal username. No changes.
It looks like you’re logged into a temp profile.
Try looking up a tutorial on how to fix it.
Microsoft has a detailed guide on their site that could help.

I tried following those guides, but I keep getting errors, or I get stuck since I can’t open the settings app.
@FrostFire
You should try activating the hidden admin account and fix it from there.

How do I do that? It says I have no admin rights.

Look up a tutorial. You’ll need the cmd for that.
It’s best to do this not in your current Windows due to restrictions.
You can either use the cmd from the F8 menu or boot from a USB Windows stick and use cmd/regedit from there.
@Calvin
I can access cmd, but it won’t let me type anything in there.

Then try one of the other two options.
