It works totally fine and doesn’t heat up at all. The outlets are all fine when anything else gets plugged in. It’s just when I put the MacBook charger in any outlet, there’s a white flash and a snapping noise. There’s no lights on the charger, the flash comes from the plug making contact with the outlet. I wanna shrug this off because nothing bad happened yet and apple as a company is a pain to deal with but my friend is concerned about my house burning down so I should probably seek help. What is this? What do I do? Should I stop using it? Am I being a total idiot?
It’s unusual. Worst case scenario is it zaps the MacBook. But they are very cheap compared to a charger, so carry on zapping it.
