My daughter’s Messenger Kids app stopped showing pictures she received from others. She can still send photos and stickers. I thought it was just her app, but I have the app on my phone too, and photos aren’t showing up there either. Does anyone have ideas on how to get the photos back?

Both of my children are having this same issue, and we tried the same thing with installing the kids accounts on my phone to rule out their tablets as the cause. That + seeing that you are having the same issue now makes me wonder if it is a (hopefully temporary) issue on Messenger Kids’ side, and not anything on our end.

We just downloaded this app in my sons Amazon Kindle Fire. Sending/receiving pictures or voice notes is not working. It just shows a grey box when his cousin sends him a picture. I tried the app on my cell phone, and it is also not working there.

Same issue here. We even cleared out a bunch of storage thinking it was a storage issue but still the same issue. Can’t see pictures or listen to voice notes sent to her. She says several of her friends also have the same problem. Hoping this is fixed soon. I don’t know what else to do. We even uninstalled and reinstalled.

We have the same issue. I just created the account for my son. He can send them fine but when he receives pictures it’s just a white box.
