I’m getting around 190-210 fps, though it does vary a bit depending on the map. Is this the fps I should be getting or is something wrong with my setup?
I’m thinking about upgrading my monitor to 240 Hz and wondering if I should expect better performance.
Honestly, that seems about right for that hardware. I wouldn’t worry too much about the fps number if the game feels smooth for you. It’s more about enjoying the game than focusing on the number.

I’m planning to upgrade to 240 Hz, which is why I’m curious. But thanks for the reply.

Gotcha. For a card from that generation and tier, 190-210 fps seems fair. I know the G CPUs are weaker than the non-G versions. You might want to check some benchmarks for that card and see if your fps matches. If it’s lower than expected, double-check that your RAM is in the right slots for dual-channel, and also make sure your CPU isn’t limiting your frame rates. At triple-digit frame rates, the CPU can really affect the max fps.

I’ve seen some videos on YouTube with similar specs, and they’re getting around 250-300 fps, so that’s why I’m trying to figure it out. Also, I’ve made sure my RAM is in dual-channel with the same brand and bandwidth.

My CPU speed goes up to 4.5-6 GHz while playing Valorant, but the usage still stays at 50-60%. I only see a 10-20 fps difference when enabling multithreaded rendering.
