Please, God, make that PyQt desktop app I wrote as an undergrad with my only programming knowledge up to that point being R scripting stop haunting me in my nightmares.
Reminds me of back when I wrote python without knowing about one line operations… So much if x append to y in two lines…
I did the opposite: I thought that list comprehensions were much more Pythonic than simple array-growing loops, so I wrote absurdly deeply nested list comprehensions with conditionals and all that were undreadable AF. With the benefit of hindsight, I’d say that rather than Pythonic, it was pretty LISPy.
I feel as though that would be real elegant provided you put new lines and indents in the right places.
Definitely, that’s why I mentioned LISP, conceptually that’s what it does (list processing), but if somebody comes expecting Pythonic code, he’ll be very sorry.
Customer states blocking error “Impossible error - will never be thrown”, something you added 8 years ago?
Oh, oh no.
Surely the people that maintained it updated documentation, right? …Right?

Years? I would say weeks
Weeks: I would say weeks
