It's been 24 hours and my streak is still there

my Streak Didn’t End After 24 Hours

So yesterday I sent a snap at 7 AM but forgot to send any snaps after that. Today I sent a snap at 9 AM, yet none of my streaks are gone. Have I misunderstood how streaks work, or is this a bug?

Hey Frank, It could be a bug… Though streaks don’t expire after exactly 24 hours. The exact time they expire isn’t clear, but it’s probably around 36 hours.
To keep track on time and be safe, you can adopt sending a snap in the morning and another in the evening.

Snapchat calculates streaks based on the sender’s local time zone. For example, if you send a snap at 7 AM in your time zone and another at 9 AM the next day, both snaps are considered within the 24-hour period, maintaining your streak.
