I can only follow 15 people, and it won’t let me follow anyone else, saying I’ve reached the limit. Is there a way to fix this, or is it a bug that will resolve itself?
I had a similar issue randomly a year ago, and it resolved itself. On another note, do you know why posts don’t show up on this subreddit? I just joined, so I’m not sure if they take a while to be checked and cleared before appearing.
It took about two hours for my post to appear, so it’s likely just a measure to reduce spam.
What’s your current following count?
I don’t have followers because I don’t post anything.
I follow 12 people
If you’re unable to follow more than 15 people and receiving a message that you’ve reached the limit, this is likely due to platform restrictions. Here are some potential solutions:
Unfollow Some Accounts: To follow new people, you may need to unfollow some existing accounts. For platforms like Facebook, you can unfollow accounts or groups to free up space for new follows.
Wait for the Cooldown Period: If you’ve followed many accounts in a short time, the platform may temporarily restrict your ability to follow more. Waiting for a cooldown period, which can last from a few hours to 24 hours, might resolve the issue.
Check for Bugs: Sometimes, these limits can be due to bugs. If you suspect this might be the case, try clearing the app’s cache or reinstalling it to see if that resolves the issue.
Contact Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to the platform’s support team for assistance, especially if you believe it may be a bug or a technical issue.
By following these steps, you should be able to address the following limit issue.
