Curious how you prepare for the race? I usually go to the gym and run 2-3 times a week, but I’m wondering if there’s a program or app that can help improve my performance. Thanks!
Find a SGX Coach to develop a plan for YOU.
Spartan+ gets access to workouts, as does GoRuck Tribe and many others. They are good but not specific to you or your needs.
I was wondering the same thing before my last race. I ended up trying Kiwi Fitness, and they generated a workout plan that fit my goals and progress. It really helped me stay on track and build up strength and endurance. If you’re looking for a bit more consistency in your training, it might be worth checking out. YMMV though.
Check out Yancy Camp or The Running Public training plans, both very good and affordable ($30 & $20/mon last I checked)
Outlaw OCR has wicked good programming.
Your needs, time, and budget will determine the best app or apps for you. Personally I have found that the Nike Run Club app (which is free) is great and will develop a flexible plan ranging from a 5K up to a Marathon. As for the strength training, Boostcamp has both a free and paid version of the app that has a variety of programming. Both of these apps work for me and allow me to spend my hard earned money on good shoes and a great hydration system. Good luck!
