I’ve been practicing weighted pull-ups and using bands for a while. The trainer I’ve been working with gave me a tip yesterday to pull slowly at first and create tension before pushing up. I decided to try it last night after having a beer, and it really helped. After resting for a few hours today, I gave it another shot.
I ended up doing 10 muscle-ups, with sets of 2, 2, and 3 at the end. I think I did about 80% strict form, which is what I wanted. I’ll work on not using my legs at all, but I’m pretty happy with my progress so far.
