If you’re over 18 and encountering this error, resolving it might involve adjusting your TikTok settings. Here’s what that worked for me, I dont know about the others …

  1. Open TikTok: Launch the TikTok app on your device.

  2. Access Your Profile: Navigate to your profile within the app.

  3. Enter Settings: Tap the three lines located in the top right corner, then select ‘Settings and Privacy.’

  4. Digital Wellbeing: Scroll down until you find ‘Digital Wellbeing’ and tap on it.

  5. Turn Off Restricted Mode: Within the ‘Digital Wellbeing’ section, locate ‘Restricted Mode’ and toggle it off.
