There are two methods to do it. Discord includes a built-in soundboard, but only if the server you’re on supports it. To play sounds, click the music note symbol. Otherwise, you can use a separate soundboard programme, such as Voicemod. Just remember to keep the volume down and utilise the sounds carefully so you don’t irritate your pals! There are also online manuals to assist you set everything up.

It depends on what you using Axel. If you using a desktop, join a voice channel, pull up the channel view, and click the music icon on the bottom left. Hover over available sounds and press “Play” to share them with everyone in the channel.

There are two main ways to use a soundboard on Discord:

Using a Discord Soundboard Bot: This is the most common and user-friendly option. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Find a Suitable Bot: There are many soundboard bots available on Discord. Popular options include “Rythm,” “SoundBoard,” and “Groovy.” You can find these bots by searching online or using websites like top.gg.
  2. Invite the Bot to Your Server: Once you’ve chosen a bot, follow the instructions to invite it to your Discord server. This usually involves visiting the bot’s website or authorization page and granting it the necessary permissions.
  3. Learn the Bot Commands: Each soundboard bot has its own set of commands for adding, playing, and managing sound effects. Consult the bot’s documentation or website for specific instructions. These commands are typically entered as text messages in your Discord server.

Using an External Soundboard with Voice Activation (Optional): This method involves using a separate soundboard program on your computer alongside Discord. It requires some additional setup but offers more flexibility:

  1. Choose a Soundboard Program: There are many free and paid soundboard programs available for your computer. Popular options include “VoiceMod” and “Clownfish.”
  2. Set Up Voice Activation (Optional): Some soundboard programs allow you to configure hotkeys or voice activation to trigger sound effects. This can be a convenient way to play sounds without manually switching windows.
  3. Configure Discord Audio Input: In your Discord settings, make sure your computer’s microphone (which will be picking up audio from your soundboard program) is selected as the input device.
