Streaming my Nintendo Switch gameplay to Discord is actually quite straightforward. First, I need to connect my docked Switch to a video capture card on my computer. I then install streaming software like OBS Studio or VLC Media Player to capture the output from the capture card. Within Discord, I join a voice channel and click the “Share Your Screen” option, selecting the streaming software as my video source. This allows me to broadcast my Switch gameplay directly to my Discord server and friends. The key is having the right hardware like a capture card, as the Switch itself doesn’t have native Discord integration. With a little setup, I can easily share my Switch adventures and gameplay with my Discord community.

To play the full-screen projector on the desired screen, right-click on the game stream.
Visit Discord.
Share the OBS projector and begin the stream.
