Been working hard to grow my Instagram presence and I’m interested in getting that coveted blue verification badge. I know it’s supposed to help with credibility and visibility. However, I’m not sure what steps I need to take or what criteria Instagram looks for.
Can anyone share their experiences or tips on how to get verified on Instagram?

Go to your Instagram profile, hit the menu, and choose Settings, Account,Request Verification to have your account confirmed. Enter your full name, known as, category, and username. Provide a picture of your ID (business documents, passport, or driver’s license). Make sure your account complies with Instagram’s rules, is complete, visible, and public. Send in the request and watch for a response. If rejected, reapply after 30 days.
When you have everything ready, follow these steps to seek verification of your Instagram account:
Login to your Instagram account.
Go to your profile and select Settings.
Click on Account.
Click on Request Verification.
Complete the form and attach the relevant files.
Click Submit.
