Has anyone else had the issue where a spinning clock shows up when trying to send a message on Telegram? It’s been happening to me a lot lately, and I’m not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?
Yeah, that usually happens when the message is stuck in the sending process. First, check if Telegram is down by using something like Down Detector. Sometimes, it’s a server issue.

I’ve had that happen too. When Telegram was down, I just had to wait for it to come back online. It can take a few hours sometimes.

That worked for me too. I thought it was my internet, but then I checked Down Detector and saw that the app was down.
You might want to try clearing Telegram’s cache. For Android, go to Settings, then Apps, and clear both cache and data. For iPhone, you can try offloading the app and reinstalling it.

I cleared the cache on my Android, and it fixed the issue right away. It’s good for when the app gets a bit slow too.
Switching networks can help too. If you’re on Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data or vice versa. Sometimes it’s just a connection issue.

Yeah, I had the same problem when my Wi-Fi was weak. Switching to mobile data made the message go through immediately.
Force stopping the app works sometimes too. Just close Telegram completely and then reopen it. That’s what helped me when I had the same issue.
I’ve noticed this happens more often with large messages or media files. So, if none of the fixes work, try sending smaller messages to see if that helps.
