I’m starting to feel like Instagram and Facebook are too intertwined. I linked them ages ago when I first started using Instagram, thinking it would be cool to share stuff between the two. Now, I’m not so sure. Does anyone know how to completely remove Instagram from Facebook? I want to keep my Instagram but just separate it from my Facebook life
To unlink them, go to Instagram settings, tap on “Account,” then “Linked Accounts,” and select Facebook. Just hit “Unlink Account.” Voilà! Your Insta will stay but won’t be tied to Facebook anymore.
Go to Instagram settings, select “Accounts Center,” and unlink Facebook there.
To ditch Instagram from Facebook, go to Facebook settings, find “Apps and Websites,” and remove Instagram from the list.
It’s understandable to feel that Instagram and Facebook can become too intertwined. To separate them, you can unlink your accounts by going to Instagram settings, selecting “Account,” then “Linked Accounts,” and choosing “Facebook” to disconnect. This way, you can keep your Instagram content independent of Facebook.
Okay, it is quite easy. Just use the Instagram or Facebook apps to unlink your Instagram account from Facebook.
