How can you tell if someone has blocked you on whatsapp?

How can I find out if someone has blocked me on WhatsApp without texting them? Any tips or methods would be appreciated!

Without messaging someone, it can be difficult to find out for sure if they have blocked you on WhatsApp. Here are a few pointers @MacHelp :

  • It’s possible that their “Last Seen” or “Online” would vanish, but privacy settings could also be to blame.
  • It’s possible that their profile photo won’t change, but it might remain the same.
  • One indication, though not a guarantee, is if your communications only have one checkmark (sent, not delivered).
  • Try giving them a call; if it doesn’t ring, it might be blocked, but it also might not be on.
  • Try adding the suspect to a fresh group chat with a friend’s assistance. Make sure your friend understands the purpose of the group before forming it, even if you are unable to add them.

Hey. Thanks. I found out that they had blocked me. I can’t see their pfp also I sent them a text and it’s still a single gray tick.
Obviously, I stopped seeing their status updates too. Kinda figured out.
