How Can I Resolve Copy/Paste Problems on WhatsApp Web Using a MacBook Pro?

Copy/Paste functionality on WhatsApp Web is not working on my MacBook Pro M2 Pro (Firefox 116.0.3, 64-bit). This issue began yesterday, and no new installations or changes have been made since. I can only paste content copied from WhatsApp Web, not from other apps or websites. Installed extensions include 1Password, Dark Reader, FoxyProxy, MetaMask, Cookie Manager, LanguageTool, User Agent Switcher, Wappalyzer, and Nslookup. I have already cleared cache and cookies.

They’re aware of the issue: Issue #125920 | webcompat.com. It should be resolved by Monday, hopefully!

On my work PC, I temporarily set dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled to false in about:config as a workaround until the issue is resolved. Be aware that this might cause some websites to break.

This solution doesn’t allow you to copy and paste images.
