Hey guys, I’ve been trying to find some interesting Telegram groups lately. Any tips on how I can discover new ones that match my interests? I’ve looked around a bit but haven’t found anything that really grabs my attention yet. Do you usually search by topic, or is there a better way to stumble upon cool groups?

There’s this tool called Lyzem Search. It’s a dedicated search engine for Telegram and Telegraph. It indexes everything related to Telegram, including bots, channels, groups, and Telegraph pages. Recently, they added a feature where you can search posts from public channels using a bot called u/IndexPost_bot.
It’s a great resource with thousands of groups indexed, so it’s definitely worth checking out!

There are indexing groups available, but you usually have to discover them on your own. For instance, there’s one for Finnish groups that many people stumble upon by chance. Try searching for topics that interest you, and you might come across an indexing channel.

The app’s search bar is located above the conversation list. Additionally, you can discover a few groups rated at Chats list / Fullyst on Fullyst.
On your Android device, launch the Telegram app. To find a group or topic, tap the search icon in the top-right corner and type its name. Results are displayed under Global Search. To see more results, tap Show more.
