Having recently joined Discord, I'm not sure where to look for groups to join

Though I’m not really sure how to utilize this program, I want to increase my social media presence, so I was just wondering where I could locate groups that would be worth joining.

Consider your major interests… and Google “— discord server” sounds simple, but it’s how I found mine. For example, a Mario Kart Discord server. After a while, you’ll get comfortable with your friends and servers and will be able to join others. Perhaps you’ll find a larger community across multiple servers? I ultimately discovered a niche called ORGs, and that’s where I’ve spent the majority of my Discord time over the last couple of years. But sure, to begin, find servers depending on your hobbies, and everything will continue from there:)

I usually just look up “(insert interest) discord servers” online and choose hobbies or games that I want to play with other people or talk about. It frequently generates a list pertaining to the subjects you are interested in:)

I relate to this post. I have come to learn that it is very hard to join Discord servers without an invitation from the administrator or from a member of that community

A button named “Explore Public Servers” of large and well-known servers (or groups, as you can call them) of any kind can be found on your server list of Discord. There are numerous additional methods for finding servers as well, such advertising servers, using other lists like top.gg or disboard, etc. I’m sure I could be of service if you need help discovering any of these.

@Ann Thank you for these, I was a little lost when I first joined Discord. I’ll look up those websites on Google and give them a look.
