I have an old Huawei P8 Lite phone that I reset. I’m trying to install apps, but when I open Google Play, it gives me an error. The phone is from 2018, so it should still work with Google services. How can I fix this?

Probably outdated google services, better update it to the latest version depending on its android version. I researched that device and I saw a 2015 version one with android 5 but upgradeable to android 6 and the other version was from 2017 with android 7 upgradable to android 8, so yeah, your phone still can support google, just try to update your google services and your apps
