DLSS on my GTX 1650… Is this normal?

At first, I thought I was seeing things, but I’ve managed to get DLSS running on games like Cyberpunk 2077, Hitman 3, Spider-Man, AC Mirage, Battlefield 5, 2042, and even Jedi Survivor. Now I’m wondering, do I have a special version of the GTX 1650?

Here’s an imgur link showing it in action: https://imgur.com/gallery/somehow-i-can-use-dlss-on-ac-mirage-lSG1OQ4

Also, I’ve got my system info from the NVIDIA Control Panel here:

I compared it to my RTX 3050 laptop, and honestly, the DLSS quality looks the same on both. Weird but cool!

The GTX 1600 series uses the same Turing architecture as the RTX 2000 cards, but the Tensor cores for DLSS are usually disabled. It’s possible that your card has these enabled by accident, or something else is going on. There have been some rare reports like yours, but no clear answers yet.

@Vic
That would be a wild manufacturing quirk! I guess I should thank Gigabyte for the lucky card!
