I’ve heard about different ways to record Discord calls, but I’m wondering if anyone here has tried some of these tools, like Craig Bot or OBS. Any recommendations or tips on what works best?
I use Craig Bot. It’s perfect for multi-channel recording, so you get separate audio files for each speaker.

That sounds great! How do you set it up?

Just invite it to your server from the Craig Bot website and type ‘:craig, join’ to start recording. Use ‘:craig, leave’ when you’re done.
OBS is solid if you want to record both audio and video. Just add ‘Audio Output Capture’ in Sources, and you’re good to go.

OBS works well for me too. It’s free and handles a lot of customization if you’re into that.

For mobile, you can use apps like Call Recorder on Android or Voice Memos on iPhone. Just make sure everyone’s okay with being recorded.
Good point. I always forget to double-check recording rules. Thanks for the reminder!
Audacity is another option if you’re only looking to capture audio. It’s easy to set up, and it’s free.

I’ve heard of Audacity but didn’t know it could work with Discord calls. Will give it a try.
Just remember, recording calls without permission can be a legal issue in some places. Better safe than sorry.

Agreed. Consent is key, especially if you’re sharing the recordings later.
