I’ve noticed that whenever I connect my laptop to my mobile hotspot, it seems like someone starts to siphon my mobile data through my laptop. Does anyone know what’s going on or how to stop it?

Only when I connect my laptop to my mobile hotspot, someone starts siphoning my mobile data through my laptop.
What exactly do you mean by that? How are you noticing it happening?
It’s probably just your computer downloading updates automatically. It may be treating your mobile hotspot as an unlimited data connection. Have you checked your network settings for ‘Metered Connection’? If not, try turning it on.
Changing your system’s BIOS settings or disk setup might cause data loss. It’s always a good idea to test your backups before making any changes. For more details, check the FAQ thread: https://www.forum.com/faq-thread
