I’ve seen some people on Instagram changing the color of their notes, and I can’t figure out how to do it! Are there any tricks or special words to make it work? Would love to get some fun colors on mine. Any ideas?
Yeah, they had this feature during The Olympics! I think you had to use words like ‘Gold’ or ‘Champion’ to change the color to gold. Not sure if it’s still working, though.

I tried that recently, but it didn’t work for me anymore. I think Instagram changes the trigger words depending on the event.

That makes sense. They probably only activate it during special events. Any idea what the current triggers are?
I’ve heard that using emojis can change the color too. Try adding a kissy face 
or a party emoji 
in your notes!

The kissy face one worked for me last month, but I haven’t checked lately. It changes all the time.
You might want to keep an eye on this forum or similar ones. People usually post when new triggers come out. It’s a bit of a guessing game sometimes.

True! I’ve seen people mention trigger words here before. It’s handy when Instagram doesn’t announce the changes.
Don’t forget to update your app too. Some features won’t show up if you’re not on the latest version of Instagram.
