Since March, Discord is on PS5, but voice chat needs to be transferred from your phone or PC. Any news about direct integration like Xbox Series X|S? Also, audio clipping issues on PS5 voice chat.

As a PS5 owner, I’m pleased to announce that direct Discord integration is now available in firmware version 24.04-09.40.00. You may now access Discord audio chats right from your console, eliminating the need to switch between your phone and PC. This update also improves kid account settings for greater flexibility. Regarding the audio clipping issues in PS5 voice chat, I recommend updating your system to the most recent firmware, which may cure these concerns.

The beta software doesn’t have it either.
I hope it’s either a hidden feature that will come with the official update or maybe in the next update before the end of the year.

There hasn’t been any official announcement about full Discord integration on PS5. Sony and Discord previously announced a partnership, but specific details and timelines for integration into the PlayStation ecosystem haven’t been disclosed yet.
