Ad Blockers Violate YouTube's Terms of Service Message Despite Disabling UBlock Origin

I keep getting the “Ad blockers violate YouTube’s Terms of Service” blackout message even though I have disabled UBlock Origin on YouTube. Every time I click on a video, this message appears. It only goes away when I refresh the page, but I have to do this for every video. Banner ads are displayed, so I don’t understand why this message keeps coming up.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I’m using Firefox, and it behaves the same way. If I uninstall Ublock, it works fine. However, simply turning it off doesn’t resolve the issue. My solution has been to stop watching YouTube.

You can bypass ads using Tamper Monkey. uBlock works well on Firefox but seems ineffective on Chrome. I haven’t managed to get a block on my main desktop, so YouTube plays continuously while I work on my primary monitor.

For a better method than uBlock, check out this TamperMonkey guide: https://youtu.be/orSbN-KVsTs

My boss faced a problem with a newly installed browser that kept blocking content. He didn’t realize that Brave, the browser he was using, has a built-in ad blocker.

There’s an issue with the cookies; clear them and try again. Additionally, if you’re using UBlock, it still functions; you need to go to the default filters, clear the cache, and reload them.

I’ve been using that (FF), but today the trick stopped working.
